Diana Kado

    Diana grew up on a farm in southern California where she saw first hand the values of hard work, integrity and respect for nature.  She graduated from UC Riverside with a BA in English, then earned a teaching credential from CSU Hayward.  Diana substitute teaches for the Davis school district and the Yolo County Office of Education, working with special needs students.

    Diana is a long-time member of Davis Community Church.  Her family includes her husband, Norman, and children Sarah, Michael, Emily and son-in-law Alex (as well as Cody the dog).  Diana’s mother, Margaret, was a lifelong Buddhist who had a huge positive influence  on her life and her father, Henry, served in the 442nd.  Her personal interests include meditation, tai chi, ikebana, simplicity and beauty.
